Image Shaker project

"Image Shaker" (IS) is a student software project. The goal is to design and implement a modular multi-platform system for image processing. Recently we are working on UNIX (XWindow) and M$ Window (Visual C++ with MFC) platforms.

IS will supports various image file formats (PNG, GIF, Targa, PCX, Windows BMP, TIFF, ..). Core-computing can use four pixel formats: gray (16-bits/pixel), palette (8-bit), RGBA (32 or 64 bits). Images and filters are organized in "workspaces" (acyclic multi-graphs: node: image, multi-edge: filter). Workspaces can be edited visually on the screen. Batch-processing support will be useful for large sets of images...
