Morphome3cs II is a program that performs various morphometrics-related analyses. Furthermore, it incorporates powerful tools for data acquisition, mainly for placing landmarks on 2D images, 3D meshes and volume data and for presentation of results. It is scriptable in Python and in R where the statistical calculations are performed.

Thesis supervision

[Bc] Greater Sciatic Notch Classification on Android Devices (AVAILABLE) The greater sciatic notch (GSN) on the human pelvis exhibits sexual dimorphism and can be used to classify the sexes with good accuracy even from photographs. The work on this subject would involve automatic curve segmentation from photographs. A semi-automatic method would be acceptable as well, however interaction with the user would have to be kept minimal. The segmented curve will then be classified using a support vector machine. The application will run on Android devices.
